Welcome to Breaking Binge! I’ve been thinking about blogging for a few years now and I am so excited to finally be getting started. For most of my life, I have struggled with disordered eating habits, and an unhealthy relationship with food and my body. Until now, this is something that I have kept exclusively to myself. I have made the decision to take control of my life and embark on a journey to finally start loving myself and to begin what kids these days refer to as “living my best life”. On this blog you will find a documentation of my continuing weight loss journey, and my quest to build my self-confidence while living with an eating disorder. I truly believe that taking care of your mental health is one of the most important things one must do in order to live a healthy and happy life and I am up for the challenge! This blog will also feature general blurbs about being a young twenty-something trying to find my way through adulthood. My hope is that someone will see this and know that you can do it too. Whether you are trying to lose weight, get fit, build your self-confidence, or are just trying to live your life to the fullest, I’m hoping that somewhere on here you will find something relatable and know that you are not alone!
